I’m a dyed-in-the-wool true blue Kentuckian, born and raised. Baby Boomer. Christian wife, Mom, and grandmother. Writer. Poet. Photographer. Music lover. Nature lover. My family has been here in this little spot of Heaven since before Kentucky was, well, Kentucky. I can trace my roots back to John Rolfe and Pocahontas in 1600s Virginia, and German immigrants who tamed the rugged mountains of East Tennessee in the 1700s. I’m proud of my English/German/Native American/African heritage. I am a beautiful patchwork quilt!
